This past week sadness stemming from disappointing news led to
a serious lack of motivation.
Then we received such great news that we were smothered in motivation! : )
It’s amazing how quickly the perspective can change!
HOPE was abundant!
Then the little whispers of “what if…” started surfacing.
The “what ifs” can make us fearful of hope.
The what ifs can make us wonder if daring to hope will somehow jinx us.
That fear is nothing if not rooted in evil.
We are meant for hope! Christ died to give us an eternal hope.
Even if life doesn’t turn out exactly as we thought it would—
hope still remains.
Fear is the most effective robber of hope.
It will steal our joy as quick as a wink if we let it gain a hold on our heart.
I will choose to live in the moment. I will choose to hope.
The “what ifs” will be shoved aside…they no longer have power over me.
“But as for me, I will always have hope;
I will praise you more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteousness,
of your salvation all day long,
though I know not its measure.”
