“A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35

Sometimes we can get caught up in the hot topic issues.
Passions rise, words and attitudes get harsh.
It can be easy to put on the glasses of "they're right, I'm wrong."

But the purpose of a follower of Christ is not about being right.
It's about being an ambassador of love and truth.

We are instructed to "speak the truth in love."
Not the world's love definition. It must be Christ's love.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 4:15-16

Graceful, HUMBLE, welcoming, unwavering from the truth but gently firm.

Jesus loves us unconditionally.
Do we love others unconditionally?
Jesus loves us in spite of our flaws.
Do we love others in spite of their flaws?
Jesus loves us--even before we loved Him.
Do we love those who do not love us?
Jesus loves us even if we don't agree with Him.
Do we love others who don't agree with us?

If we say we do--would these people agree? Do they know?

As ambassadors for Christ we MUST learn to "disagree agreeably"!

We must disagree without leaving Grace and Love on the side of the road.

Stand firm on Truth but love like Christ...
~~without condition
~~respectfully

We can't expect preschoolers to build a rocket.
We can't expect those without Christ to understand.
But love is a universal language to which everyone responds.
