I am so excited!! This morning I found the map to a good and honorable life!
Who says we don’t have an owner’s manual? Who is still searching for the meaning of life? It’s been here all along…in Proverbs, chapter 3, verses 1-10!
Action: Do not forget the Lord’s teaching; keep His commands in my heart.
Result: My years will be prolonged. I will be prosperous.
(Live long & prosper! LOL)
Action: Never allow love & faithfulness to leave me; bind them around my neck; write them on the tablet of my heart.
Result: I will win favor with a good name in the eyes of God and man.
Action: Trust in the Lord with all my heart and don’t lean on my own understanding; in all my ways acknowledge Him.
Result: He will bless my life journey with straight paths.
Action: Do not be wise in my own eyes; fear the Lord; deliberately and habitually avoid evil.
Result: This will bring health to my body and nourishment to my bones.
Action: Honor the Lord with my wealth, giving Him the first fruits of my labor & income (the cream of the crop, not the leftovers).
Result: I will have more than I need (plenty to share).
