When something new is being built, the construction workers MUST receive their direction from the architect or the building will not be sound.
The workers would be foolish to start digging before they’ve been given the directions…the depths, the widths, the lengths and the heights.
Only the architect has these details…
and he will share them with the workers in the order
that they must be worked out.
Only the designer has the vision, the plan,
and the timing necessary for the success of the project.
God has the plans for our lives.
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD,
‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a hope and a future.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’”
Pray. Study God’s Word.
These things are essential to developing
the relationship with our life architect.
We must train ourselves to recognize His voice
so that we know when He is giving us the next step.
While we are praying and studying and
learning to recognize the Architect’s voice,
we must trust that He is going to reveal the next step to us
once we have obeyed the previous instruction.
We must keep listening so that we will hear WHEN He speaks…
following the steps as He reveals them to us.
Step by step…He makes us new.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation.
The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
