“ …One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
I need to be in constant prayer for discernment as I wade through oceans of information I’ve recently discovered about chemicals in our food supply. I recognize that some is biased…some is politically and profit motivated…and some is SPOT ON.
Big business food manufacturers are continuing to push nonfood into our food supply like drug dealers on a street corner. They know how to manipulate humans with a decades-honed skill...and we are eating it up. Literally.
Good quality real food does not need artificial "food enhancers" in order to taste good.
So why add it to the product?
Adding lab-created chemicals to "enhance" (aka mask the tell-tale signs that it's not real food so our tastebuds won't alert us) their product allows companies to increase their profit margin. The chemicals added allow the companies to use lower quality and less quantity real ingredients in their product.
It's about their bottom line. PROFIT.
While we are not only allowing ourselves to be used as lab rats we are enabling this custom to continue so that we can feed the addictions we now have.
We can’t yell and scream about Big Food and Big Pharma getting rich off the backs of the little people while we continue to funnel our dollars into their pockets. Our now insatiable desire for “more” is killing us slowly but surely.
That's just insanity.
The instances of people who take the meds that allow them to keep eating whatever they want, masking the symptoms but doing nothing to stop the root cause, remind me of the scene in one of the Hunger Games movies where they are at a banquet. When there is a drink offered to them and they ask what it is, they are told it will help them purge (vomit) so they can continue eating the vast array of goodies offered. The characters' response is complete, and appropriate, shock and disgust.
Who decided it was a better plan to take medicines so that you can keep ingesting poison? STOP the poison from getting into your body in the first place! That makes more sense. Doesn’t it?!
Then there are those who tell me that “just a little doesn’t hurt us.” This reminds me of a scene in the movie "The Sixth Sense" where a little girl’s mother was slowly poisoning her by daily adding a cleaning product to her soup. It was a slow process with definite and deadly results...but it was only a little bit. Not enough to kill her quickly. It took time for the poison to continue building up in her system until her body could not handle it any longer and she perished.
How many people would be willing to eat brownies if they were told there was "just a little bit" of dog poop in them? Yet we willingly accept the concept that just a little bit of poison won't hurt us. Our own government allows this nonsense. Folks, we have been fooled.
This is happening in real life. We want more products for less money. We are continuing to feed the monster that is destroying our bodies. We are suffering consequences in our bodies: Ailments that used to be nonexistent or rare have exploded in our country and are now at unprecedented & epidemic levels.
It’s time to stop paying others to poison us. They are getting rich and we are dying!
Try this experiment for one month. Do not consume ANYTHING, not even a piece of gum, with aspartame or msg (monosodium glutamate--also hidden behind the word "hydrolyzed") in it.
One month…you can do this!
Only eat food without those two chemicals and judge for yourself how your body feels.
Challenging, yes, but you are worthy of the effort! And if you find, like I did, that you feel better doing this, you will end up saving money in the long run as you adjust your food patterns and also enjoy the “side effect” of restoration to good health.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity.
