“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Matthew 7:3-5

Just because you don’t see the log doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
We need to examine ourselves before pointing fingers at the mistakes of others.

Pray daily for the Holy Spirit to help us see clearly what we need
to work on in our own lives before we can even hope to be a help
to anyone else in straightening out their messes.

Untangle your own chains before meddling with someone else’s…
only then can you help them see how to untangle them successfully.

Getting so weary of the pointing fingers of others…jabbing me in the eye…
while their own logs swing around the room, hitting anyone within reach. :(
