…says there is “no hope” in the situation.
…looks at life in negative light.
…makes people bitter.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—
his good, pleasing and perfect will.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up,
just as in fact you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:8-11
Pessimism has NO place in the hearts and minds of those
who wear the name of Christ and believe in His Sovereignty as King of Kings. NONE. Kick it to the curb as the spiritual attack that it is.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
When you find yourself overwhelmed with pessimism robbing your joy, pray.
Reach out to your siblings in Christ. You are not alone.
Our Father God will deliver you!
He sees. He hears. He understands.
He loves you.
