Even with worst calamities seen so far in our recorded history—destruction has been measured…limited…restricted.
There is coming a day when those limits and restrictions will be removed.
Because so much time has passed between when the prophecies were recorded and our current time, people have become complacent and unbelieving
that the day of Judgment will never arrive.
This is a grave mistake.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient with you; for it is not his purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins.
However, the Day of the Lord will come “like a thief.”
On that Day the heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up.
2 Peter 3:9-10
Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted his right hand toward heaven and swore by the One who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it: “There will be no more delay;
on the contrary, in the days of the sound from the seventh angel when he sounds his shofar, the hidden plan of God will be brought to completion,
the Good News as he proclaimed it to his servants the prophets.”
God’s revelation to John explains that the destruction in the last days will be increasingly more intense in order to make people recognize the danger they are in so they will turn from their sin.
Do not gamble with your eternity—turn to God now.
Accept the offer of Salvation that Christ’s sacrifice purchased for you.
Be aware: rejection is also acceptance of all the consequences upon yourself.
The choice is STILL yours.
