The past couple of years were painful reminders for our family that
we can’t really know “what’s next?”

Doctors sometimes give people a year to live—some live well beyond that.

Some folks expect to have 70+yrs but circumstances shorten the number.

We should plan as if we have tomorrow…
but love those God puts in our paths as if today is our last.

“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”
Proverbs 27:1

“Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city,
spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.
What is your life?
You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Instead, you ought to say,
‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.’”
James 4:13-15

“You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the span of my life is as nothing before you.
Each man’s life is but a breath.”
Psalm 39:5
