I have been thinking a lot lately about the strength of women. These are some of my thoughts that I had to write down as I sort them out:
We are stronger than we realize...we are even stronger when we help one another.
We are not meant to be alone...no "lone rangers"...no hermits! God's design for us is to enjoy relationship with others around us. We each have strengths. We each have weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are not the same in every person...they are meant to work together...to compliment one another, if you will...in a body or unit.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
We need to learn what our strengths are so that we can offer those to others. We also need to recognize our weaknesses and allow others to help...to allow their strengths to be used.
Together we can make a large impact on the world around us. Together we can lighten the load we each carry.
There is no shame in asking for help. It essentially (when all members are working together) strengthens the body/unit as a whole.
