Who Do You Serve?

There are two forces that have been at war since before time began:
The epic confrontation of good vs evil.

Some believe it will always be, the war will never end,
that the powers will always remain equal.
However, Scriptures teach us that there IS an end—
Christ has overcome—Satan will be vanquished.
Light dispels darkness.*

War still raging because there are still many who will believe in Christ.

When we love others and show them the love that God has put in our hearts,
we serve God.

Some blatantly serve Satan & believe they will somehow rule hell with him but they are deceived….it’s a trap…”he does not share power.”
Many of us believe we can remain neutral in this battle—but we fool ourselves.
When we “serve ourselves” (looking out for #1) we are aiding our enemy.

We have an enemy whether we recognize him as such or not.

Who will you serve with your heart, mind, body today?

*“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made;
without him nothing was made that has been made.
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:1-5

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”
Romans 16:20

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes,
you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:10-18
